Tuesday in Holy Week In Isaiah 49:6, God says to his servant, "It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the survivors of Israel: I will give you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth." In John 12:32, Jesus says, "I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." Then in John 12:36 he says, "While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light." Collect for the Day: O God, by the passion of your blessed Son you made an instrument of shameful death to be for us the means of life: Grant us so to glory in the cross of Christ, that we may gladly suffer shame and loss for the sake of your Son our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. Read today's texts here: https://www.episcopalchurch.org/lectionary/tuesday-holy-week-b/
